Just looked on the OS map and the lanes indicated are mostly "whites" - probably a gravel base. Also had a look on Trailwise ( http://www.trailwise.org.uk)... It seems the one with the ford in it has a pipe bridge with 5' height clearance, with evidence of off-piste driving. Another one goes over someone's lawn, others are mud tracks: Easy well surfaced lane with nice views
Easily driveable. Some ruts have been repaired with large concrete blocks and care should be taken traversing these. Some fairly deep ruts at southern end. Otherwise firm sandy soil surface.
Reasonably well maintained soil based track. Some stretches medium rutted with some water filled ruts in places. Easily passable if good care taken on wet sections to prevent further deterioration.
This lane passes over a "cultivated lawn" at SO7636 8580. Advised owner that we would not cross it as surface was damp. Owner said that he could not stop us but was gratefull for our actions
We stopped at SO 760 850 and came back out. There is a pipe bridge at SO 761 850 which is impassable to 4x4 due to its low height. There was evidence of idiots going 'off piste' and doing a lot of damage
