Just who do they think they are!!!! Or, more to the point, how stupid do they think you are!!! Sorry I'm doing !!! like a Deb. I just got an update message from Microsoft and it wanted me to install IE 8 so I Googled it and hit this link :- [url http://www.chron.com/disp/story.mpl/bus ... 35251.html[/url] When I tried to read it , Microsoft stopped me. Go on try it. See what happens, if this ain't illegal.................................................Next time I meet Bill, or one of his clones I'm going to slam his Gates for ever. ( trying not to get done for threats). Blood Boiling but at least I didn't SHOUT in front of friends. They say " There's no smoke without fire", but just because theres no smoke doesn't mean there's no fire (All you "calm" guys will understand.) but if you are the not nice who blew on the embers AAARGH too furious to go on. Try the link!!!!!!!!! P.S. Go get them Roo you know how I feel.

I've just seen the light and swapped over from internet dominance 7 !!! After I got an un welcome update trying to force me into using the useless IE8, which I downloaded a while back and promptly removed after 24 hours, down grading back to IE7. How do I delete IE7 from my computer ???? It won't allow me to remove it from the Add & Remove programmes Option !!! Do I need to go into my C: drive and delete it manually ?

Start -> Control Panel -> Add/Remove programs, then click on the "Windows Components" on the left ... Internet Explorer is listed there

I've not had too many issues with MS, just don't like to be TOLD to upgrade to what they want. If I remember correctly, I purchased my computer, with My hard earned cash, NOT MICROS@IT. Dont think it said on my receipt that they had rights to access my computer and change what they like when they feel like. Will be switching Auto updates off as well.

I've been using FF for years now, more secure then IE!!! Have a read of this, its a big finger up to micros**t http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/technology/8139711.stmGoogle are really going after the big crown!!! http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/technology/8141964.stm
When I die, I want to go peacefully like my Grandfather did, in his sleep -- not screaming, like the passengers in his car.
