It was a great day, we did a few tame but interesting lanes and looking forward to doing them when there is no mist as the views would have been fantastic
Quite a few very tight and scratchy lanes 8)
Then later it got more muddy and the last was a gem of a lane 8)

All thanks to everyone today I had a great day and as ever Spence was a star with the gates and sneaking up and frightening me each time, oh and his cakes, Ta Spence :D

Right Alex got lucky

Then Simo got stuck
Alex said on the cb "Mind that ditch on your left" 4 seconds later bump Simo was in the ditch on the left  you twonk  at least your dad loved it 8)

Yup, was a good day alright.

Was widdling down with rain in the morning. Couldnt see more then a couple of hundred feet in places as there was plenty of mist.

It started to clear up about 2pm/3pm though. Was quite humid as well I thought.by the time we finished the last lane it was really sunny. Unfortunately I was too tired to appreciate it properly.

I dont think any of the lanes we did today have been driven in quite some time. Almost all of them were overgrown and at one point Drift drove through a bush and dissapeared from my sight completely. Wheres Drift gone I thought to myself ;-)
It could have been like something from The Secret Garden.

None of the lanes were technically challenging but as always its about getting out in the country for a drive really. The last lane I think it was was a surprise, reasonably steep and rocky with some nice muddy, rutted sections. And of course the thrill of pushing your way through the undergrowth made up for the relative flatness of the lanes ;-)

Good banter was had by all and we only got lost once. There were a couple of technical hitches at the start in the car park when Alex's MM had a hissy fit but we swapped cards and pushed buttons till it worked ;-)

LOL @ that... Yeah that was funny. I was wondering why we had stopped.

Definitely one for beginners if they dont mind some scratches.

many thanks to Drifty for suggesting the meet and to Alex for leading, Simo for getting stuck and Jue for being late and giving us enough time to fix MM.
I also drink Port and I'm not ashamed to say it!
