Don't use WD40 as it will dry out the bearings - use a silicone based spray lubricant. If your belt is squeaking, it is probably worn, therefore replace it.

Ste if you come across an old git by the name of Ray Clayton tell him Colin from Lincolnshire (the guy with the green Frontera who used to argue with him back in the 90's ) says Hi
Ray drives a Landy and is really a nice guy once you get to know him, he used to do an quite a bit of work maintaining local lanes with GLASS.
(well not with glass because that would puncture your tyres but with ...well you know)
