As I'm sure you know Ste, the Gap Road is only open for the month of March and with two weekends now gone and one weekend for the "wild welsh camping weekend" that leaves two - I have plans for the last weekend and I can't warrant two consecutive weekend's laning so I saw the opportunity to use the Friday (as I've booked a few days off). It's due to re-open again later in the year and so perhaps we'll plan a weekend around it for then. Lawrence
Is it not open again Sept/Oct

Need at some point to start thinking about groups and routes, I can prepare some maps, do we have an overlay yet or does one need doing?

Cheers Alex, Phill said you were up for leading a group,Phills currently working on the overlays. If everyone turns up we will still need another leader with one of them new fangled gps thingy's, Dave ? Bit unfair on Lawrence to ask him to lead yet again, as its difficult for him to keep climbing in and out over his roll cage at every gate. Did suggest that if he wanted to, he could lead from behind G.

Will have the overlays ready by this weekend coming hopefully. Gotta do a ball joint on the truck then get it through its mot re-test, should have that done by wed/thurs coming. Going to do the reccie to check the status of a couple of the lanes towards the end of the week.
