Well were back  should really have been called 4x4 market. lots of stalls, hanfull of static 4x4's and the occasional car on the seesaw.

Good day, met some foggers, but missed loads. Decent day, worth a tenner, will go again.

I concur - was a good day out and the weather wasn't too bad (at least it was dry).

Met a few FOGgers myself (I just wish I could remember names)

I felt very small in the modified truck area  - Bit of a laugh though.

Yep, I renewed by GLASS and TOR subscription, pledged my support for the British Cross Country Championship this season and probably spent more than I should have (although a ball joint splitter set and a set of long reach sockets is surely and investment)

Interesting day out, although not many ‘real’ bargains to be had, (the ‘show prices’ didn’t stand out beyond ‘internet prices’) on most stands.
however im awaiting a phone call tomorrow from Devon 4X4. (who incidentley seem to be a good bunch) 8)
Also I know im an existing CRAG member, but today, I decided to join GLASS.

Was there briefly, arrived at 12 and had to leave at 2

Did get to meet Lawrence and Stuart and get a good look at Lawrences SWB especially the winch mount

Spent me money on a proper Hi Lift after braking my T-Max version yesterday, prices wern't that great but as I was there I didn't have to pay postage :|

But my £5- eBay ground anchor was well worth the trip 8) Turns out the guy I bought it off has just given up laning at the ripe old age of 71   He's lugged this round in his LR for the last 20 years :!: :!: If I'm still laning at 71 I'd be well chuffed :D :D

As always it seemed a huge Landrover fest, some nice modded motors there including 3 from the ITOC forum, maybe next year we should make an effort to get a few more Frontera's entered

I saw a Isuzu Vehicross for the first time today, I like them lots, bit out of my price range but it looks the mutts nuts

Was hoping to catch up with Phil (Sir Dorris) anyone see him about :?:
Soon to be without a Frontera after 10 years of owning one :-(

Nope... i decided after spending a goodly portion of the night in the pub yesterday not to go when the alarm went off at 7am. the drive there and back would have played havoc with me tomorrow (garage is arriving at 7.30am) so decided to give it a miss.
I also drink Port and I'm not ashamed to say it!

Had a great day at the Donington Show, loads of interesting vehicles to look at and shiny goods to lust after. Though the hilite of my day was meeting up at Lawrence's Fronty sport and putting names to a few faces, Lawrence, Chris, Simon amd Simon's mate (didn't get his name  ) and having a natter with them, talking Fronty, what else !!

Till next time, regards

Stuart :D
