what is memory map and where do i get it. how good is it. and how much

Its a program that uses ordnance survey maps to plot routes, track routes on your PC and mobile laptop or PDA.


You can do funky things such as flythroughs on your route.

You can buy it direct from Memory Map Here

It is £50- per region or £200- for the whole of the UK, you can get it cheaper on Amazon, £140- for the UK or £43- per region.

If you are planning on doing lots of laning it can work out cheaper than buying paper OS maps but if you want to use the GPS functionality when out you will need a gps device whether it be a PDA, smartphone or other device that supports Memory Map.

Personally I think its well useful

Just got it all sorted with area's 4,5 & 6 on the laptop :dance: Come to put it on the HP pda n guess what.............................cant find the ****** **** lead for it so i can tranfer the mobile version over :cry:
