well here goes.......

i've taken the plunge and just bought a SWB p reg 2.8 diesel.

all seems well so far - except for the heater not being too warm - a problem that appears to be fairly common.

reason for buying is that i film weddings and wanted something that could take the equipment we use.

i had been using my company car - a focus but that went back last week when i gave my job up to concentrate on weddings full time.

went for a frontera purely because i sat behind one at some traffic lights and thought it would be ideal.

i just hope it proves to be as reliable as i hear they are!!!

Welcome to fog matey,

You got a good un with a 2.8 swb, they are super motors and are brill on fuel for a 4x4!

Heaters are notoriously bad on these, as the engines dont seem to get very hot....
but believe me having a turbo diesel that doesnt get hot is never a bad thing really!
