Another Newbie...

Hello nice to meet you. I live in Shropshire and have just bought an M reg Frontera following my ford mondeo throwing a rod through the engine. So if anyone wants to buy a mondeo who has an engine???? LOL. Anyway i just really wanted to learn more about the car I have just bought and find out what to look out for, where to get it serviced, repaired and who does the best deals. I am currently on maternity leave so have some time to get the car up to scratch. It has some localised rust on the bonnet and bumper which will need to be replaced and the front doors seem to rattle so not sure if I need new doors or new latches?

I would have loved to have bought a newer model but money is tight. I quite fancy doing this one up a little to be honest. But looking for a car in a similar colour that is being sold for parts.

Hello all and thank you for such a warm welcome!
Hopefully I can get my 'MONTY' up and running soon so I can show him off at Fronty meets! Need a few replacement body bits and the engine needs some attention. I have no Radiator fluid at all! So I am guessing there is a leak somewhere or it over heats!

Door rattles and being lose sounds like hindge pins are worn. Common on Vauxhalls.
With the door open slightly, lift it up and down from the bottom and check for movement.
