Hi,
I just wanted to say hello and tell you how how chuffed I am with this website. This is the first time I've ever posted a message on a forum as I suppose i'm some sort of a technophobe when it comes to the internet.
My wife owns a Frontera Sport 2. It's a 1999 Diesel pretty standard apart from a nice set of alloys. My wife explained to me that she was having a couple of problems with warning lights on the dashboard. One was the airbag light and the other the engine warning light. I took the car to a local garage who told me it would be £30 just to put the car on the diagnostic machine. When I got home I thought I would check the problems out on this website.
The tech forum suggested the airbag warning light might be a loose connector in the wiring under the seat. It was suggested thet the engine warning light might be down to a dirty EGR valve or a split vaccuum pipe.
I checked the wiring under the seat, removed and cleaned the EGR valve and finally cut the split ends off the rubber connections for the vaccuum pipes.
Guess what? Hey presto!! One hours work and all problems clear!!

So to finish, I have a fully fit frontera, a wallet full of money and a happy wife!!
