Just finished my last ball joint, was fitting new air filter and out of dumb curiosity checked the turbo. Theres just too much play in the bearings, so its off and on with the spare. Turning into a real marathon, cant honestly say if I'll get it done and packed and run in before Friday.

Will try, but now just a maybe folkes, sorry.

I do recall MANNY saying it was quite and easy job (yeah right  ) if you have NOT got Air conditioning fitted.

Make sure you got the Freeze and Release handy.

As for running in, should'nt need it as it's a second hand unit anyway.

Good luck. If you need a hand ........ Don't ring me !!!!

Thanks for the offer Stu, Matt and his 12mm long ring spanner came in very handy. Just struggled with the lower rear nut on the manifold side. Couldnt budge it and ended up with a ratchet strap to the front bulkhead by the rad to get it off, even then the bulkhead started to distort slightly before it gace in. Dunno how anyone without a bodylift will get in thruogh the arch.

Hope to plumb the replacement in tonight, the play at the front was doubled at the back so I hope it was a lucky escape. The was no scoring and the coke at the rear was still untouched, so the play hadnt gotten too excessive.

Feeling a little more positive, hope to get the motor finished and start out early Sat am, fingers crossed.
