im really pleased to be part of this group as i am soon off to buy a frontera (as soon as i have a job)

what got me in to frontera's?
well my dad baught one and it was our first ever 4x4 and payed just 1k for it, it was an l reg 86 odd thousand miles on the clock and ran ok for a few days then the inevitable happened sluggish cam shaft sensor light at 3-4 thousand revs then the cat gave up but even though with these problems i still loved and really wish we still had it (for me ) lol but my parents are glad they had the frontera "coz" ever scince they always wanted another 4x4 and have now ended up with 2 4.0 petrol jeeps

but as the frontera is going to be my 1st car i have come across one or 2 sites that will insure me eg lv = liverpool victoria at 2,700 quid when a 1.1 cinquecento sport is 2,100 and well- its the safety aspect that gets me the frontera built like an ox so i dont mind paying a little more but does anyone know any cheep insurance companies that will insure me when im 17 for the frontera as im not bothered about what model it is , estate- sport 2.0 2.2- etc as they stay around the same price ?

I have just joined as well, and I am a happy chappy after buying a Fronty last wee for under a grand. It is a 2.5 TDS San Diego and only has 60k on it and is in blue. Unfortunately all the wheel centres are missing so I'll have to sorce them. Also I would love to get a nudge bar for it (A shaped) for a 1997 (R) if anyone has one. I am up in the Edinburgh area and drove the vehicle back from Rugby, I was really surprised at how comfy it was.
