Hi, My name is Paul and I have just become the proud owner of a 1994 2.3 td Frontera. There, now I have admitted it I feel so much better. I live in deepest darkest Sussex with my lovely wife, three children, two dogs and more cats than is strictly nessecery. I work as a roadside repair/recovery mechanic for a large independant recovery garage and part time as a landscaper/ tree surgeon for my friends business. I got the Frontera as our old estate car, a Mitsubishi Sigma V6 3ltr., finally bit the dust when a front spring broke.(£248 + VAT, ouch!) Money being tight I bought an old fiesta as a temporary run about whilst looking for a suitable replacement. The must be criteria needed to be; 1) Big enough for a family of 5 + 2 dogs. 2) Good for towing. My tree work involves towing trailers. 3) Economical. The dear old Mitsi was good fun but it drank more than Oliver Reed
My mate has a 2.5 td Frontera that I was impressed with, it ticked all the right boxes so I started looking in all the usual places. Nothing came along within my price range, or was just too tatty. Then yesterday, my Friends Dad phoned to say he was selling his Frontera. The rest, as they say, is history. 62000 miles, 13 months MOT, couple of months tax in the window, £950. I think its a bargain. Do you? Anyway, I shall stop wittering on, and hope to chat more later. I shall be posting Piccys later when I get 5 minuits to spare. Cheers for now, Paul.
