Help to buy my first Fronty

Hi , I'm a frontera newby infact i don't even have a fronty yet but am looking around for one to buy.
Any suggestions as to which model i should buy will be appreciated and any info on the models would be cool.
I do like the 5 door model as i have a daughter and will be easyer to access the car seat and the boot space is better for me but i dont know which engine size is the best.

Yes the lwb (5 door) will suit your needs better than the SWB
What budget are you working with?

he's working on his other car at the mo i think about £1500 i'm looking for a lwb for about the same money now my head gasket is going!

Thanks for all your feedback guys , I start a new job next week and will be going fronty shopping around the end of march.
I am still unsure on the engine size to go for but i am leaning towards a V6 , just so i can wipe the smug look of boyracers faces off the lights.
What sort of power increase mods can be done and whats a popular choice of mods?
I will be doing some offroading but nothing to fancy!! Maybee

Personally I wouldn't recommend more than a decent air filter and a performance stainless steal exhaust, I think the engine tuning itself is about as good as you are going to get without sacrificing reliability. Not much of a performance improvement, but as a 4x4 it doesn't really need it...
