No problems mate. Already discussed with Bobby, who is arranging the ribbons for everyone.

We will also observe a minutes silence before we start the day.

And there is also the £5.00 discounted donation to be sorted as well. Just waiting for the family to get back to me on what they wish to do with the collection.

Here's the finalised details for the day.

These details are the most updated ones and
any previous ones posted are to be ignored
.

(1.)

Us Stokies will be meeting up here :

Image

Just off Junction 15 of the M6. There is a Layby just off to the right on Clayton Lane, opposite the Comfort Friendly Hotel. (Marked by red circle.)

We will be gathering anywhere from 8.15am to 8.30am with the intention of leaving at 8.35am prompt.

(2.)

A few people wish to meet at THE SPREAD EAGLE PUB and join the convoy.

For those people here is a map of the Pub location :

Image

For the people gathering at the pub, please be on the car park between 8.55am and 9.10am with the intention of leaving promptly at 9.15am.

For those with CB's Please turn to channel 8 at this point.

Hopefully arriving at Farley Quarry around 9.40am ish.

(3.)

Upon arrival we have been given a £5.00 discount off the admission fee. (Thanks Dave  ).

I have spoke to the organisers and to claim your discount when you arrive at the Quarry you need to quote :

JASON - FRONTERA OWNERS GROUP - £ 5.00 DISCOUNT.

To the wonderful lady on the gate who takes your hard earned money from you.

(4.)

As we all know, this day has now been dedicated in the memory of ROB MILLS (Turbo) who sadly died before christmas.

We have agreed to tying a black ribbon to either your CB ariel or your Radio Aerial as a Mark of respect. Ribbon will be supplied on the day.

A minutes silence will take place at some point during the day.

A collection as agreed will also be taken during the day.

We also have go to fit in the cake cutting (and eating) ceromony at some point, as well as plenty of fun, laughter, banter & MUD.

(5.)

The day at Farley usually winds down around 3.15pm ish (weather depending  ).

At this point, I will give all those attending the pub a piece of paper for you to write down your tipple for that you require back at the pub.

Makes my life easier and everyone will be gaurenteed a drink.

We will then be leaving the quarry and head back to the SPREAD EAGLE PUB for a few refreshments and maybe a bite to eat.

For those who don't know the way back to the pub, I will supply a map with directions on Sunday before we leave.

I hope this covers just about everything. If anyone can think of anything else or is'nt sure about anything, then feel free to either PM myself of 4x4 Bobby and we will sort out any issues.

All is left to say is .............

THANKS YOU TO ALL THOSE WHO ARE COMING AND MAKING IT A EXCELLENT BIRTHDAY TREAT AND VERY SPECIAL F.O.G DAY TO REMEMBER.

SEE YOU ALL SUNDAY.

PLEASE DRIVE CAREFULLY TO THE EVENT, AS THE WEATHER MAY BE A BIT ROUGH.

anyway Thank you it dose look the quickest way for time and ease :D :D :D
The only other way i can see maybe a shorter distance is to go up A49 then at craven arms go on B4368 then onto B4378 to much wenlock then onto A4169 (farley road)
What dose anyone else think ?

If i'm not mistaken, thats the way BikerBarney goes to Farley. Might be worth a pm and try and arrange a meet up.

yep thats right

this is the way for me;

(9.00-dy11 7jn) a442 to bridgenorth

than a458 to muchwenlock(just past the petrol station )turn off to farley
on the a4169 then it just down on the left for the MUD :D
