This is from another forum but never the less its a good lesson to lean, always have a competent banks-man/Spotter (person to reverse you back and spot trouble)

frontera's don't have a natrually high roof line .....so wouldn't roll quite so easily

dont kid yourself, i would say if motion takes you then there is nothing you can do, people react in different ways, as he said it happend so quick, when we see things like this time is on our side but not in the event, this is one of my worries as we all push harder and harder to see wot our vehicles can do and go

Dont you believe it, Tim BUMPTJ will tell you how close I was to rolling on the Pheasent Steps a few weeks ago, I had one guy hanging off my passenger side to stop it rolling over to the drivers side.

I dint even realise until I heard the shouts from the others

A good illustration there Ste.

Add to the equation; taller tyres with a therefore softer sidewall, steel roof racks maybe loaded with a spare wheel, the vehicles center of gravity is far far higher than stock.

Be sensible, stay safe.

The actual angle depends on the setup (lift/tyres/shocks etc) and the loadout within the car. Unless totally stock all will be lower than the book, the more we do the less tolerant the car will be.

No real solution to side slopes than experience and go real slow, having a spotter/camera person abord helps a lot.

I had a guy hanging on one side and Dave Rodgers towed me out, it doesnt look to bad on the pics.

You can see where the drivers side tyres have lost grip and slid sideways on the pic above.
