CHAIN OR BELT??

HI. I HAVE A 2.3 TURBO DIESEL ON A 1994 M REG. DOES ANYONE KNOW IF THIS A CHAIN OR TIMING BELT AND HOW DO I FIND OUT WHAT ENGINE TYPE IT IS.
