Bet your has'nt dried like CONCRETE.... Horrible stuff.
Bobbys radiator kept washing itself out, ALL OVER THE ROAD..... Had to stop ever 10 minutes to depressurise the cooling systme and refill. Took over 2 hrs to do a 50 min journey. Did'nt have any problems with mine, even though you cant distinguish the radiator due to the mud....
'our' mud is a lovely mix of water, muddy soil and lots of sand...(old sand stone quarry)
a 'quick' jet wash to get the worse off took an hour... looks like you had a top day though.. 2.8 SWB, TDI POWER.....
Heres some piccys MASTER MUCKER (aka KYLE) took with his Camera.
Not bad for a 9 year old. Last edited by FUDDY MUCKER on Thu Dec 20, 2007 1:09 pm, edited 1 time in total.
He was an unknown Fronty owner, spent £250, brought it to the quarry on a trailer and tried his best to kill it. Only damage he managed to do was to snap a power steering belt We have convinced him to join the forum, so look out for him sometime in the near future.
cavmad was at the north west meet... 2.8 SWB, TDI POWER.....
Cavmad was with us in the North West
Your mud looks like fullers earth. Ours was really hard to get to stick to the cars, untill I had an idea 2WD Rooster Tails in a circle convoy. It brought the whole site over to watch What a sight five of us in a tight circle 2wd plastering each other for about eight laps Ste

Video of Farley Quarry
Not as good as previous efforts, as I had other things on my mind. Enjoy Lawrence
It's 4.42am, still totally hyped up, wide awake since 2am. Sitting on here.
I took 5 Videos, but unfortunately I can only download one for some reason This one is Manny showing BikerBarney and Alex how to get through the mud bath : And yes, it was as muddy and sticky as it looks. Also forgot to mention, keep an eye out for 4x4 Mart Magazine, the Frontera Owners Group got a bit of coverage by a photographer, who wanted to know quite abit about the group and forum, so hopefully there will be a write up about the day and the world record attempt. Just need to ask one very important question.....................
WHEN'S THE NEXT MIDLANDS OFF ROAD DAY OUT
Unfortunately the Midlands Meet Off Road Day casualty list is increasing !!!
Looks like 4x4 Bobby has totalled his Head Gasket. And the latest new is Lawrence Limped home this morning after breaking down on the way to work. The mention of a turbo change sprung up in another topic. Good luck Lawrence, hope it's nothing serious.
Looks like you all had a superb time as well! Fantastic pictures!
