Night lanningJust thinking aloud,
Did some nice starter lanes with Lawrence and Drift in the summer. Re did them with the missus, would like to do them in the winter at night. Wouldnt need to be midnight by the time winter comes around, could be an early evening start to do the Wayfairer and whitestones (I think thats the later) What do you guys reckon? We did it on a marathon laning day that started in south Wale at The GAP, and ended on the Wayfairer at stupid oclock at night, was a long day but extremley good laning getting in most of the Welsh classics

Would be a corker if we could get a crisp night with frost. So pretty up there. Dunno about the carwash, maybe best for daylight.

AT's are best for snow, or sand for that matter
Muds dig in to get grip so the bury themselves. Less aggresive Muds will be fine in snow though Ste

OK folks mid Jan is a good bet for snow in Wales, so is late Feb.
Big BUT if you want to play in snow at night it would be very wise to have greenlane experience of it in the daytime. So you know what to do. Its a totally different experience in the ice/snow to driving on tarmac. Even though there where 5 of us on my first snow trip, and we set off early, we got stuck so much we had visions of sleeping on a windswept hill in freezing temps, it delayed us so much, granted all cars where nearly standard other than tyres. A nice crisp night will be fine as long as the route avoids farms and other houses (who wants us trundling through their garden in the middle of a good late night movie?), so planning is the key. When the snow comes, I think an impromptu meet can be held in the day time. Sorry if I sound like Im lecturing Ste

Thats very good advise ste ...
as laning in the dark is tottaly different than driving the same lane when you can see whats around you
So, maybe a run in the night not expecting snow and then a day run if we can get ourselves there in the snow.
Has everyone done the daqy route with Drift\lawrence? I think we have. We could repeat the 2 long ones. Fronty no.4, pimp mobile Treg 3.2 LWB lifted 2.5"
