We have had three excellent Midlands Monthly Meets, with more people and better weather each time.
Something that has been discussed at the last two, is for a meet to be held at a Pay & Play site. For some strange reason, I have been nominated to arrange one.
Due the the Midlands Meets so far being centered about the Wolverhampton area, it would make sence to have a P&P day in that area - fortunatey, there is a P&P site near Telford, just about at Junction 6 of the M54.
Might I therefore propose the September meet be at Farley Quarry on the 16th September 2007 - that should give us a few weeks to prepare.
Midlands Monthly Meet Sunday 16th September 2007 10:00 - 16:00 Farley Quarry, near Telford
Cost will be £35 per vehicle (I will try and get us a group discount)

No need to do the tuff stuff, just tootle around the flat stuff and experience how four-wheel-drive works - you'll be surprised.

Might be better for you, turning out in a tricked up ride you might bite off more than you can chew familiarize yourself with the tow points and come along.
I am sure someone will let you ride in the passenger through some fun stuff and you will have a better idea forwhen you have the tyres.
I rode shotgun twice before trying Cannock chase and found it a great insight.

Sorry guys I am going to have to pull out of this event. We go on holiday on the 17th and the wife says I can't go, just in case I break something coz if she dont get her holiday, I get a divorce.
Hope you all still have fun. Don't forget to get some piccies for me.

Pop along, park up and cadge a ride with someone (my passenger is normally empty). In fact bring the wife and make a morning of it , better still, bring a camera - just a thought.
I'm sure we'll have another local P&P day before the year is out.
