im looking to buy one a swb 1999 onwards not sure what to look for and what size engine anyone help? also where to take it off roading in derbyshire? thanks

Welcome to the forum :D

From 1999 onwards there were only 3 engine options, if memory serves me correctly, 2.2 petrol, 2.2 diesel and 3.2 petrol. I know you could het both 2.2 petrol and diesel swb models, not sure about the 3.2 tho.
