WHAT YOU DID TO YOUR TRUCK TODAY!Re: WHAT YOU DID TO YOUR TRUCK TODAY!Jim. when rob and I replaced he's front doors we had to remove the wiring looms from his old doors because there are two different looms. Some only have one muti-plug and some have two.

Re: WHAT YOU DID TO YOUR TRUCK TODAY!.... and started swapping over the panels that I acquired from the donor car in Wales today.
As above, the multiplugs for wiring in the front doors are different on the newer car - probably due to having the speakers (separate woofers and tweeters) fitted in the doors rather than a 2-way installed in the dash as on pre-facelift models. Thankfully though, the rear doors are identical, so the car is now sporting a pair of blue rear doors. The wiring loom is connected, so the windows and central locking works just fine. Swapped the weather strips for the best of each available too, but still on the lookout for better ones. Wings and front doors next. ---Edit--- Alright, I lied about the central locking. It seems that the OSR door behaves opposite to the rest of the car. Locked when the rest of the car is unlocked, and vice versa. Central locking fuse pulled for now cos it's Sunday and I can't be arsed to go chasing wiring faults. Last edited by Wilberforce on Sun Jul 26, 2015 4:45 pm, edited 1 time in total.

Re: WHAT YOU DID TO YOUR TRUCK TODAY!Correct on the original origin Greg, incorrect in the assumption that beer tokens were exchange for them. Came via a member on here some 2 years ago at at an annual.
Oh and it was the N/S front. I suppose I really should get round to getting some aisin hubs for it now. Have you got any sat around the yard? Just need to get the truck running again first. It cut out going through town this morning, not fuel (although the bleed screw on the filter is stripped now...) Traced to a total lack of volts at the fuel solonoid valve on the pump. Seems the 15A ignition fuse had blown, but why? Thinking that the truck spending 20mins sat in the middle of a mud hole/puddle on sunday may have summit to do with .
