Had jeep give it a update to a previously done recall. Took the poor bloke 1 and a half days to get the go ahead from the warranty department but he got it done. Can't help but think all that time he spent trying to get them to pay for it cost them more than the 15 mins it took for the technician to do it, and it was a software update, so only 2 of those 15 mins was actually him doing anything lol. But now I have low range again and it seems it needs a set of new glow plugs as it had a stored error code for all 6 of them lol. I've also ordered some 2" wheel spacers from the states and a bonnet guard from Windsor, all of which are on route to my door as we speak Next up find out what's clunking at the front end then fit some new bigger boots (either 265 70 17 or if I can afford to lift it before the current tyres completely expire some 285 70 17 )

Did some more work on the rear end rewire, just started fitting the Superseal Connectors to tie the various bits of loom together.
First up was the fuel gauge wiring, fitted the plug and tested but the gauge and warning light are not working correctly so will have to revisit.
Next up was the rear lights, this was more successful and they are working which leaves the rear wiper and demister wiring to sort out.
Soon to be without a Frontera after 10 years of owning one

Greased it, New air filter, checked for right fluid levels. New ignition thingies (Sparks?) and fuel filter and some tools (reduced to a min) packed into the car. Camping gear and luggage for three weeks as well. Actual "mileage" counter reads 226.045 km - this holiday we surely crack the 230.000... May the God of Fronteras be with us
Kind regards, Ian Sorry for my pigeonenglish. My doctor says I have to invest time in SPORT

Fitted the lift kit to the rear as I knew I wouldn't have time to do the front. Looks good now, well the back does lol. Looks like it's in a permanent state of hard braking but hay. I'll do the front soon

Broke it then fixed it...
This posting may have been helpfull, on the other hand probably not... Either way, I may have had drink when posting it in which case it's probably not as helpfull as it could have been Work safe, and remember all technical problems can be resolved with a hammer, the trick is knowing where to hit it and how big a hammer to use (I often find it may also help to have a spare bit in the shed to replace the bit you have just mullered ) Work in Progress (or not as the case may be) I give you.... 'O-no' the truck.Comments on 'O-no' the truck may be left hereWork in Progress (or not as the case may be) I give you....
