Re: WHAT YOU DID TO YOUR TRUCK TODAY!Cleaned up the two steering knuckles and brake discs from the 2.8 so I can use them on the 2.0 ( they look better than the 2.0 ones ) for when I fit the diff next weekend.
Then removed the auto hubs from the pickup because needs to borrow them until he can buy new manual hub. Plus syphoned out 20L of diesel from the 2.8 again to help Ian out Loaded up the car with tools , wheels & parts for robs spanner party tomorrow i hate having Dyslexia
Re: WHAT YOU DID TO YOUR TRUCK TODAY!Not much really, just fitted a new clutch (trooper stylee) to Truck and then got the gearbox back on with the help of Hound Dog. All the other little bits n bobs that get to come off when a gearbox comes out then followed along with the front bumper and bull-bars which were off so I could measure up for the winch bumper...
Had a brew, then fired it up and took it for a trip rond the block. No rattles this time, so the gearbox gets to stay on Truck is back on the road again... until next time that is This posting may have been helpfull, on the other hand probably not... Either way, I may have had drink when posting it in which case it's probably not as helpfull as it could have been

Re: WHAT YOU DID TO YOUR TRUCK TODAY!Took Truck out for a quick 100 mile test run after changing pretty much all of the drive train and all went well so well chuffed there. Even gave it a good clean inside and outside too, sparkly truck now or what.
Now it's running again the next thing to do is a 2" lift and get the winch bumper sorted once the local metal shop has finished mucking around with it. Re: WHAT YOU DID TO YOUR TRUCK TODAY!Reading the preps for the journey to Wales I decided to go into the shed to look for the things to do...
The rear speakers remained still in a box since I stripped Grünstreifen's interior last year. Decided not to go for new speakers, but how to put them in without putting the whole sidepanel in Palace? By sudden I got an used sweetbox of Haribo in hands... The diameter fits, some holes cut into it, screwed at the wall... Bingo! Now again sound as engineered in Luton. Kind regards,

Re: WHAT YOU DID TO YOUR TRUCK TODAY!I bolted on my roof rack today. It originally was for a Citroen berlingo, but I modified it to fit. It's perfect for the Fronty.
