Just found a pair on ebay for 16 delivered. Amazed as he can't be making much money on them. Just hope they are ok like he said

I replaced all 4 of mine not long ago and only cost me £150 for all reconned units. Just handed them my old ones. I know it's a b series. Wouldn't have thought there would be much difference in price though.
Oh that was from car spares.

Fitted 2 new aero wipers that i got for £5.85 a pair from e-bay. What a difference they make!

Not what I done to the truck today but what I used part of a truck for.

we have a burst water main to our part of the street it went at about 3 yesurday morning. We have had the water board out trying to fix it since then. So today I've had to do a couple of trips to the garages up the road to get water. filled up 5x 2ltr pop bottles for tea, coffee , cooking , washing up, and filled up an old fuel tank for flushing the toilet

Spent the day so far trying to fix the 4wd for Saturday. No luck yet.

Started to swap the back axle on Truck, got all bolts/nuts loose ready to come off apart from the anti-roll bar drop links, those I can not shift. In defference to it being Boxng Day and the town is so bl**dy quiet you would hear a mouse fart (even BZN is quiet, no planes running up etc) play has now stopped until the morning. Tommorrow Mr Angle Grinder is coming out to play... Heres to hoping that the local factors is open and they have some new ones in stock!

Truck

Axle is now off, managed to get one drop link off, had to gring the other one off. Local factors are open (bonus....) but they don't have a drop link in stock

Now just got to get the replacement axle on.... Oh and it's nice n sunny here too

Well today I finally unlocked the manual hub after last Sundays thetford laning. I don't know how I forgot to do it 5 days and about 170 road miles

Tried again to resolve poor running issue.

Ran a can of fuel straight to fuel primer and still running gutless. So I guess that rules out fuel line issues.

Need to change turbo but just cant get motivated.

Really running out of any enthusiasm for this truck......

started making some wide arches from a trailer mudgaurd but had to stop as my kids got bored and wanted to come home, ill try finish tomorrow

Truck

Replacement Axle now fitted. Surprisingly it went on with no problems at all, everything lined up nice. Handbrake shoes and drum/disks also fitted. Just need to make up and fit some new brake lines, bleed the main brakes. Make up and plumb in a new axle breather pipe which will then be run up to the engine bay. Oh and fill it with oil too.

Front pads and discs. Also fired an email to Milners about the circlips on the wheel bearings they shift. Was a pain to get on!!!

Set off to Wales in it, broke it, recovered it and repaired it! All before lunchtime!
Fell out with it and made friends with it again.

Stuck the key in it and watched the last of the battery die, well its been a few weeks since its been started
