I'm bloody stumped as to how to release the clip holding it on, anyone changed this pipe??????? Its the one under the 2 heater pipe's. It looks like the engine has got to be tilted forward a bit so if i undo the gearbox mounting and jack up the gearbox would this give me enough clearence????? Re: WHAT YOU DID TO YOUR TRUCK TODAY!Its what I would do Bobby. Undo the two nuts that attach the gearbox mount to the gearbox crossmember. Then get a jack under the tail of the transfer box and lift it up. Just get a spotter to keep an eye out in the engine bay for radiator hoses stretching/crushing. That and pitching the engine into the radiator. Not so bad with electric fans but trucks with viscous fans run the risk of the fan making a mess of the rad.
While your there might pay you to replace the vacuum hose that runs behind the back of the head as you will be able to get to that as well. ![]() ![]() My members ride For Banshee the Trooper : viewtopic.php?f=46&t=34626 My members ride for Leeloo the Lotus Edition viewtopic.php?f=46&t=60154 Deceased My members ride for Brenda the Bighorn : viewtopic.php?f=46&t=54771

Re: WHAT YOU DID TO YOUR TRUCK TODAY!I finally finished the body lift on the truck. Not as easy as it sounds doing it by touch light on your own with 2 rusted out sills. Next up is to sort the rear brakes/give it some rear brakes lol then weld up the sills.

Re: WHAT YOU DID TO YOUR TRUCK TODAY!Threatened it with a trip to the scrap yard, flaming truck .....
Somehow I have a small hole on bottom edge of fuel filter, not sure if it got knocked when removing EGR valves the other day. Previous owner didn't believe in maintenance and I am paying the price for it. Forth time I have had to let the customer (I was on the way to) down.
Re: WHAT YOU DID TO YOUR TRUCK TODAY!Fitted new filter and spent what felt like hours priming only to find with the help of Stuart (fatbaz), that the primer isn't priming.
So he towed me round my estate till fuel got forced through and truck fired up to live another day.
