More models of cars ... impression

Hello
I have this selection of cars with engines up to 2.5 petrol/diesel...I wait suggestions, impressions anything viable..

Frontera B 2.2 DTI vs Kia Sorento 2.5 CRDI (year 2007-2009) vs Mitsubishi Pajero 2.5 (1996-1999) vs hyundai Galloper 2.5 diesel (i don't know the years),

The cars above look to me more cheap to buy and maintain somehow ...
I am not sure if i should put the Defender 2.5/2.2 diesel on the list because parts it seems expensive in both aftermarket and new/oem

Off course the NM is not everything but beats everything and for 7000-8000 euros you can get a very fancy interior too and a powerfull truck
I read the onwers reviews on the parkers site and people say it's like a tank and consumption is 36mpg vs Pajero that goes down to 21 or 25 and parts more expensive...
Frontera B looks like a younger kind near the Sorento..
