Washed it hoovered it and discovered its coolant problem

Refitted the drivers door mirror and the drivers door-card.
While the card was off I took the opportunity of giving the door lock/handle mechanicals a drop of oil.

Cleaned out the carpets and it's starting to smarten up again.

Went to start the car for the first time in many weeks and it couldn't quite manage to turn over and fire.
The battery gauge showed power was down an unhealthy amount, no wonder as the doors have been open for lengthy periods while working on the truck without the engine running.
Thankfully we're getting longer days so hopefully the solar charger will bruing it back up for when I use it later in the week.

Greenstripe:
Tried to fix the hose of cooling fluid system (with sensor between thermostat and rad) - failed. According to local dealer throughout Europe no longer available.
Next step ist getting other 35mm hose and see what goes...

Put off the black trim of the rear window. As original, view has improved a lot.

Trouble with rear diff again. New cover looks fine, but oil is pressed through the breather... Maybe wrong oil? Will claim that at the garage on tuesday.
Put the extension of the hose off as oil was pressed in the interior and made an awful odor...



Put it on the original breather ventile - still leaking there.
Convinced of wrong fluid now.

Pumped the tyres up on the little blue bug (they all needed topping up)
Jump stared it and drove to my parents - good grief that Frontera is fun and can turn heads with the top down
There is a bit of a bang from the rear suspension that I suspect is an upper shocker mount, but apart from that it ran great.

Looking forward to it's next run up to Trentham Gardens next month.

Made her work a little got a distressed phone call from an elderly couple of friends, who's Astra had blown a hose.
towed them home and never even felt them behind me!. This Frontera is proving more useful by the day!.

Going to look at a Maverick for my wife this evening, no nothing about them, just a Terrano re-badged?.....

Not today but tomorrow I will kick it as I walk past it then hopefully it won't be on my drive when I come home from work. I'm leaving it at home because the bloke that bought it is picking it up in the afternoon.
The only drawback with this I've got to walk to work.

not so much my truck but i tweaked the bullbar kiteflyer was gifted at the annual. we have a deadline for it to be back on the road weekend of 22nd july. for some bbq

The rust adds texture to the otherwise boring oil slick...

I reckon if Andy keeps his eyes open when he does the walk...after a couple of days he will have found enough bits to build another disco!

Replaced the old front shocks for a set of monroes i pushed them in and still waiting for them to rebound this may take a while

Clean off the wheel arches and gave them some underseal, (will do the underneath tomorrow at work) blew outairbox and filter, cleaned the air flow sensor, topped up fluids, all in all a goodfew hours spent tinkering

well yesterday and not my truck. started repairing the front crossmember of the body. and its in worse shape than i anticipated

So far insured the 2.8 at £320.07 for fully comp fixed the drivers window fixed the boot window lock and fitted my Stereo
