Trouble is mines a b series, i have found one at a local scrap yard, just got to get it tomorrow and try to fit the bugger.

The timing belt has indeed gone south so I'm having a beer in the Wainright inn then waiting for the AA to recover me

Well every cloud and all that, I've just had the best steak I've ever tasted in the Wainright inn on my second pint of old Lakeland well might as well I'm not driving home

Loads of guest beers, and it's within walking distance of the camp site.

I'm thinking loads of bent valves, not a job I want to undertake in a wet field 240 miles from home to be honest.
The AA. Reckon I may well have to stay in a hotel overnight and be recovered in the morning shame

Looks like its now down to, yourself, Steve and me mate? Long way off the 10 or so that wanted to join in originally, but im sure it will still be a good trip.
Im thinking i might just kip in the truck as i cant see the point in messin with the tent, especially if its this windy up there

Have saved half of the diesel money with the recovery do the same again on Sunday and it will be the same price

well its nice and sunny up here today but the ground will be very wet .

Finally arrived home at 05.30 this morning after being relayed 3 times by the AA went straight to bed and woke up at 12.30
By the time I'd unpacked the stuff from the Frontera it was getting on time wise and the traffic was building on the A34 so I've decided to give it a miss

Hope you guys have a great time hopefully the weather will hold off for you.

I'm going to have to try and make the next one sorry to have missed this one but 5hit happens.

What can i say.......................AWSOME LANES!
Really enjoyed the weekend and did some great lanes and saw some amazing scenery
There were some interesting moments over the weekend, none as interesting as us rescuing a guy with a broken ankle and a bleep off girlfriend , from a rough lane, after his 'Buggy' thing sheared off its rear wheel , it couldnt be repaired, so abit of heavy lifting and some good team work, and we had him back to the bottom of the lane awaiting assistance and the wrath of a very annoyed bird
