I have just made life a bit easier for myself at the meet, I bought one of these to fix to my bumper

We could use them but we where hoping (for warmth) in using the marque more in the evening as we can use the genny as much as we like pretty much?

I will be yes but i cant really afford them just yet. Side steps are on and need to remain owing to the wife being 4'11!

Todays top tip... Take the side steps off at least once a year to keep the bolts free and more importantly to allow you to clean the rot off the chassis where they bolt on.

O-no had some fitted when I got it, it looked okay but when I took them off I found some decent holes behind the plates which required some flat plate and mr mig coming out the shed to play. If I hadnt caught it when I did the chassis member would have been seriously compromised. This, on a fronty with 82k on the clock compared to Truck with 210k on the clock and does not have them fitted, in this case the chassis is solid.

Quick one and unlikely i appreciate but is anyone planning on bringing some welding gear with them to the annual who would fancy welding on my rear recovery points? Would rather pay someone on here if it is available.

I don't recall anyone having brought welding kit to an Annual before. Spanners, etc, quite common though.

Had mine fitted at a local metal fab shop one Monday morning. Figured I'd go for the "support the small businessman" approach, so I had a quick chat and was told to be sat outside in the morning.
Chappie did both mine while his mates were making the tea and gassing about the football; didn'yt take more than a few minutes, and cost me £20, if my memory serves.
