Spent the day at Andytats welding the front end off bob onto mine so the front section of the body is actually attached to the chassis lol. Mines a P reg and bob was a R reg...the difference a year can make is amazing lol. Will post pics tomorrow . Oh and once again Andy...thank u for your efforts! Great job!...well what I mean to say is the front didn't fall off on the way home

We didnt finish until 10pm as I didn't have any work lights for outside I needed to by a little bit inventive with my old headlights and car batteries.

Well had a productiveish day today. Got the EGR's removed and tweaked the fuel pump while I was there but one of the bolts on the exhaust manifold sheered off and is proving a git to get out. Tryed welding a nut onto the end but they keep snapping off and I'm running out of nuts might just weld the blanking plate to the stump and just put the other bolt in lol.

Just took it for a test run now that I have the EGR blanking plates on...and wow what a difference tweaking the fuel pump half a turn makes! reaches full turbo boost at about 2100rpm. Pulling out of my village in the mornings shouldn't be such a life threatening activity anymore lol. Well chuffed with that result. Now I'm about to start rebuilding the other manual hub

Checked the anti-freeze, and found it seriously lacking, so stuffed 2 litres in to tide it over til i've time for a full flush out

Took Bag 'O' Sh*te No 2 for its mot and it PASSED.....no advisories
So it should, as its now had 4new shocks,poly bushes and a new centre exhaust,new springs
