WHAT YOU DID TO YOUR TRUCK TODAY!Re: WHAT YOU DID TO YOUR TRUCK TODAY!Not to 1of the the frontys but to the spare engine i have for the 2.5vm, Finally got round to fitting a full manual injection pump to it and after a lot of swearing and scratching of the old head she lives and seams to run and rev quite well. just have to change the rear oil seal then get it fitted to see how well it goes.

Re: WHAT YOU DID TO YOUR TRUCK TODAY!I've just fitted the new rear brakes. Now have the currect calipers on the currect sides. New disks, pads and shoes. But I need a new drivers side handbrake cable because the casing has split and the cable has sciezed up :/ tomorrow I'll change the diff oil, on that note...ep80w90 gl5 is the right stuff isn't it?

Re: WHAT YOU DID TO YOUR TRUCK TODAY!Well today I wired up the 4 roof lights and the two driving lights on the winch bumper.

Re: WHAT YOU DID TO YOUR TRUCK TODAY!Saturday morning got up bright and early to fix the Passat. Coolant temp sensor. Bleeding awkward to get to at the back of the cylinder head up against the bulkhead. Had to remove the airbox and associated pipework to get to it. Slapped in a eblag special. Now the gauge works, the ECU doesn't get confused and make the radiator fan run at full tilt all the time, and cleared the fault code via some free software and an eblag cable on the laptop. Happy days.

Now time to go AT/MT hunting... and order a set of front arb bushes from milners as i have been very impressed with the rears! Rule #3: Don't believe what you're told. Double check

Re: WHAT YOU DID TO YOUR TRUCK TODAY!Came home from Devon to find the nearside front flat tyre as a pancake. Got 25 psi into it to it took it my freindly tyre fitters who took it off checked it resealed it and fitted a new valve. All good to go for £10.00
