Re: WHAT YOU DID TO YOUR TRUCK TODAY!Just got back (yes its just gone 5am) from a 'quick' laning trip with fudge and MrPete... only did 3 lanes in about 9hrs lol. Fudge has his road tyres on so he got stuck at every opportunity lol. Me with my half cut muds lead the way because the lanes were out my way and I have done then a good few times before...but all this rain has really changed them a lot.
Although fudge gets the most stuck award tonight I did also loose momentum a few times...its a real good feeling when your trying to move to unstuck fudge when u then get stuck. No problem tho...we just put the winch on and placed our bets on which truck was going to move lol Sorry pete for giving u the camo effect top to bottom lol...but think...some people pay good money to get covered allover in wet mud...I did it for free hahaha. And sorry to fudge for keeping u out so late...he wanted to go home at 10pm lol I'll post the few pix i did get once I've cleaned enough mud off my fone screen to see it properly ![]() My 2.8 shorty - now sold, and comments here My old dti - now sold "Life should not be a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in a pretty and well preserved body, but rather to skid in broadside, thoroughly used up, totally worn out, and loudly proclaiming "WOW --- What a Ride!" Re: WHAT YOU DID TO YOUR TRUCK TODAY!Indeed, thanks for that 'initiation' to greenlaning Dan. Think I've got all the mud out of my beard now
(It was good fun though, even with us all being so damn knackered!) In other news, I've just promised my truck that I won't be doing anything offroad until both it and myself are prepared to get stuck AND can get us both out okay first Now, where's that coffee... Don't confuse your books:
