Re: WHAT YOU DID TO YOUR TRUCK TODAY!I have just seen the news and Sunderland and the east coast have been badly flooded too. A 62 year old man was also swept away in staffordshire and was killed.
Here is a link to my local paper. http://www.bromsgrovestandard.co.uk/2012/06/28/news-Storms-cause-chaos-across-Bromsgrove-and-Rubery-43800.html

Re: WHAT YOU DID TO YOUR TRUCK TODAY!Made a small (large
I finally got sick of looking at the muddy water sloshing around in my head lights and tail lights and front indicators. Removed the headlights After swilling some water around in them I noticed the silty brown water had stained the silver relective backing on the back of the headlight bowl. So I decided to whack a bit of bleach and water in there and leave it to soak for 30 mins. Was a little shocked when I emptied the water/bleach out ![]() ![]() As you should just about be able to see from the pics, the bleach disintergrated the silver at the bottom of the bowl Thankfully I think I may be able to seperate the lens from the bowl and spray some wheel silver or something in there to cover up my balls up

Re: WHAT YOU DID TO YOUR TRUCK TODAY!When I filled mine with (muddy river) water I ended up having to suck it out with an old vacuum hose. Tasted foul. I tried to suck it out using a window washer but for some reason that didn't work. Not enough power for some reason.

Re: WHAT YOU DID TO YOUR TRUCK TODAY!Failed my MOT today, I expected to fail on the handbrake shoes and I was going to do them on the garage car park as the new shoes are in the boot
I couldnt get hold of one today so ordered from Milners and will bang it on next week. So off to fit some handbrake shoes now if that big black cloud buggers off, its been fantastic weather here today until I got my tools together Ste

Re: WHAT YOU DID TO YOUR TRUCK TODAY!Funny that Drifty. I went out this morning to Vauxhall (yes main dealer) to get the bits needed to get Mrs RatCav's Astra prepped for selling. Glorious sunshine right up until I got the tools out. Just got in very wet, though not that cold. All jobs done though (apart from the exhaust and wing mirror cover).
Time to have a cuppa and dry out. ![]() ![]() My members ride For Banshee the Trooper : viewtopic.php?f=46&t=34626 My members ride for Leeloo the Lotus Edition viewtopic.php?f=46&t=60154 Deceased My members ride for Brenda the Bighorn : viewtopic.php?f=46&t=54771
