well took it wading today for the first time through the floods was a big worried as its a 3.2 petrol but went through no probems and chuffed to bits as the only non landrover getting through. Was going to ask how good they are at wading last night but forgot so thought i best find out the intresting way lol

its just a standard 3.2 the air box is behind the head light and goes into the wing i think. Water was no where near the headlight dept maybe just above the floor. Took my freelander through loads in past so thought if that can make it frontera should be fine

Did an oil and filter change last night, between rain drops.

Today, I swapped the old bull-bar for a better (not twisted) one I've had kicking round the garden for about 8 months. Decided where the recovery points are going and made up some plates to beef up the front locations, drilled out and threaded the bolt holes and bolted them in, that bull-bars going nowhere unless the front of the car falls off with it. Going to drill out the holes on the bottom of the bull-bar for the front shackles tommorrow and same for the rear once I get the mounting points in the post.
