WHAT YOU DID TO YOUR TRUCK TODAY!Re: WHAT YOU DID TO YOUR TRUCK TODAY!That is some serious air you have in those arches now. Looks good lads.
As for me I had another go at fixing my passenger window. Works out I can get power to the motor from the drivers switch, but nothing happens when you use the passenger switch. Either way the bleeding thing refuses to budge. I think amongst other things the motor is goosed. Now to find another which could be a challenge. Wondering if an A series motor is the same. ![]() ![]() My members ride For Banshee the Trooper : viewtopic.php?f=46&t=34626 My members ride for Leeloo the Lotus Edition viewtopic.php?f=46&t=60154 Deceased My members ride for Brenda the Bighorn : viewtopic.php?f=46&t=54771
Re: WHAT YOU DID TO YOUR TRUCK TODAY!Hello All,
well, today I only put off the front shelter to have a look where the b***** h*** the oil is leaking... ![]() ![]() Not the seal of the sump, but of the pump! This amount of oil is pressed out whie running engine appr. 5 min with low rpm: ![]() ![]() So with the lack of tools for lifting the motor and enough experience, the Mrs will take the Ford Fiasko the next week! Kind regards,
Ian Sorry for my pigeonenglish. ![]() My doctor says I have to invest time in SPORT

Re: WHAT YOU DID TO YOUR TRUCK TODAY!Well it ain't going to go rusty Dan
When you replace the front seal NEXT WEEK make sure you take care taking out the old one. Inspect the crank end for any scoring and damage using a mirror and torch. Clean it up properly, then when putting the new one in you need to have it dripping in oil to help go in smoothly and evenly. Then remember we told you how to drive really carefully and slowly to bed the new rear one in ... guess what YOU WILL HAVE TO DO THE SAME ![]() ![]() My members ride For Banshee the Trooper : viewtopic.php?f=46&t=34626 My members ride for Leeloo the Lotus Edition viewtopic.php?f=46&t=60154 Deceased My members ride for Brenda the Bighorn : viewtopic.php?f=46&t=54771

Re: WHAT YOU DID TO YOUR TRUCK TODAY!Putting it in all in 1 go or 30 quid here and there makes no difference mate. What does help is that he supermarket where me and Mrs Box had just done the shopping was offering 7p a litre off the price of fuel if you spent over 50 notes in the shop
Re: WHAT YOU DID TO YOUR TRUCK TODAY!Bloody hell Si how big is your tank, mine takes £107 for 76 litres of diesel as of Sunday
