Tightend Jay's steering box on the 2.8 on saturdy as the kind man came and sorted our computers. What is a 5 minute job on the 2.0ltr took a bloody hour on the 2.8 No bloody room to work!! Nail!!!!

Steve me and Tom went on saturday and not sunday
He has a dent to his rear quarter panel and cracked his fiberglass roof That will teach us for playing in the woods
Which water run did you get stuck in?? do you have pics?? and more importantly is your truck ok??
We had a cracking day and did everything on the site

Well my new upper inlet manifold and gasket arrived today. Been and fitted it tonight and the truck is running way smoother.

Have cleared the fault codes and no new ones have appeared so hopefully this will have fixed the hesitation problem and intermittent eml!!

Downside is the glow plug relay has died so have to get a new one of them.

It never ends!!

Still hoping for some better mpg now if it is fixed as been getting around 30 and was expecting more like 35/6 as on good roads to work.

This fix is due to mel wakes giving me a hand and helping identify the issue and what part to buy (big thanks Mel). Top spirit of FOG. It does make me wonder if this is a serious problem on the later B's and we may see this more as the sensors and throttle spindles wear now they are getting older. Certainly something to look at on the y type diesel engine. An expensive bit but something to look at early on in the fault searching process.

Si my road is non stop with cars but consideribng it's a cul de sac its busy and every time i went out it rained and with working on a bank just not doing it, but if after a pow wow with Audra tonight then i will know if it is staying in the family or thats me disowned from frontys,i have to think practical not silly trying to over strech myself i have already lost 1 hobby

Truck was more than ok. i humiliated a swb pajero which couldnt get up a hill when the fronty breezed up it graciously. poor pajero felt he had to keep trying and failed each time... miserably.

Yeah Bala was hoofing. Me and Colley just zipped around and he even inspired me to have another shot at diff recker hill
Then the clown talked me into having a go in the woods.... It's ok though as he'll now have to help me pickup my truck sooner rather than later

I did the 3 water ways as I have a snorkel just not the one on the left as even a fully sorted bob tailed rangerover needed winching out after he had a go.

Fitted new brake discs, pads and shoes, (Mintex), Changed all oils and engine oil filter, found gear oil in the transfer and gearbox!!! then a little bit of welding on the exhaust, next job adjust steering box and new air filter.
