Spent 2 hours under the Fronty on a jack with a grinder cutting away the bolts to remove the center exhaust box..

When trying to refit the new replacement part to the existing pipes..



Damn gaskets dont fit.. now its 10 times noisier Will have to finish it tomorrow... roll on take 2!

I could have drilled it out, but instead went and bought new gaskets at the local factors. The ones that came with the exhaust would have fitted no doubt it i had bought the whole system from Milner. but as it was just a center box I suppose what I had was just old.

I would have had to cut the ends off the gaskets also and did not think that was a good idea.

Checked all fluid levels and didnt need to top anything up as normal I then packed the truck up ready to go playing in the morning

Finished the exhaust ( center box fitting ).
Fitted a new cam position sensor.

How come ones from VX for 2.2 Omega's/Astra's etc

are £148
