I actually have a picture of it Si! Danny the Strata lane itself is mostly rock so extreme muds are not a necessity at all BUT..... Me and Colley went and did some other lanes and we hit a muddy patch I have no shame admitting Steve's a much more experienced off road driver than me but if you notice my trucks infront because I had the muds on it walked up this bit and then helped Yank the V6 up. So They did help in that sense. Plus they look beasty

Better to be safe than sorry tho mate! i must admit the muds do look the dogs tho n the noise dont bother me, ive got muds on the v6 n push come to shove il swop em on to the swb but im hopin to sell it shortly so i can have a garage on the new house! needs must so made sure of a replacement before hand n our lass wants to have a go on the lanes n dont wana hand 200+bhp over to her as im not sure the addition of a wall, tree or post would be benaficial to its bodywork!

My 2.8 shorty - now sold, and comments hereMy old dti - now sold "Life should not be a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in a pretty and well preserved body, but rather to skid in broadside, thoroughly used up, totally worn out, and loudly proclaiming "WOW --- What a Ride!" This vehicle runs on 100% recycled dinosaurs

When the wife was at Lincoln Uni the only parking available was a patch of scrubland near the accomodation block. There was a 4' high embankment to get up and down. I had my LWB 2.3 at the time and it was aalways a case of nice and slowly going down to park ... plently of grunt to get back up again as it was quite steep. I got air under the front everytime I crested the top. I always got amused/strange/shocked looks everytime I went up it. Did that so many times I couldn't count. Never broke a thing. Tough old things the Series A.

Finally fitted the 2" lift shackles to the rear and cranked the front up to match Then fitted a nice replica carbon fibre gear knob (2.99 off ebay gum ) to keep my hands warm in the morning instead of the hideous large chrome affair the previous owner had put on Oh yes and put my folding spade in the back incase we get loads and loads of snow lol !!
I would prefer a full bottle in front of me than a full frontal lobotomy. Seek not excess, God hates he who roams !
