Well its not directly to do with the truck...but it will be towing it...

I got myself a caravan project with a mate of mine to do up over the winter, only cost us £101 off ebay....so even if we find out its too far gone...then no real loss as we'll get some if not most of that back in scrap metal

I would like a caravan but its the storage of the thing that puts me off why i bought a trailer tent dont get me wrong trailer tent its great but a caravan is a little bit warmer and sturdyer sturdier ermm stronger

lol yeah, Ive had enough of waking up in a pool of swet in a tent in summer, and freezing my nuts off tenting in winter.....so a caravan it is, heater, hob and grill, even has a kitchen sink lol. And its ment to be a 4/6 berth.....so its not like we'll get claustrophobic

as you will need to do your trailer test to tow that legially on the road

i think he will be ok to tow with fronty even if he has not took test or pass driving test before 1/1/97
as i think its a sprite XL with a mtplm of about 1250kg so with fronty on front it will gross about 3300kg so he will be within the 3500kg

well it is still over the 750kg that you are allowed to tow.
i had been on the phone to the dvla about it as i wanted to know what i could or couldnt tow. and was told i am only allowed to tow up to 750kg as long as the trailer and car is under 3.5ton.
as if he had passed befor 1997 he can tow a trailer and car as long as the combined waight is less than 4.25 ton and the car unlaiden is heaver than the trailer loaded.


as it is an ass as if i wanted to gre a bigger trailer i not allowed to tow it

they screwed up the 750kg rule is unbraked trailer
the caravan has a max gross weight of 1250kg tops with the car your under 3500kg

Sprayed it satin black and put my alloy A bar on temporarily till I get a winch bumper sorted

Not today but yesterday i had to fit a new coil pack cos it wasn't firing on all the cylinders ( just like its owner ) it had no spark on number 4. luckily i had a new coil pack in the garage..
