Now all the commotion has died down about submerging our trucks and damaging people's vehicles I just want to ask if there are and if people are up for it some more technical stuff to do in and around the area? I'm still a noob but damn it I'm up for trying :D
What ever we're doing it'll be fun and I can't wait to see a certain member start burning bits of his car

Awesome drift how far do you have to travel? My trucks good for about 50mph so if you want to meet up me and Colley are convoying. We'll be on the cb's 10-4 call me mr dig bick

Box I'd love to give my light bar a proper run! Last time I used it I gotta attacked my either giant wasps or hornets alone.

Looking at the list it seems most are old hands but for those that are relatively new to Welsh wet laning a few tips.

If you can spray all electrical under bonnet items with silicone spray (halfords sell it) and spray it and make sure your door rubber seals are fine.

If you like you car to come out shiny after the weekend try waxing it before with good quality was, it will help when cleaning after the trip.

Also as it will be wet remember to get a grease gun and re-grease prop ujs, failure to do this causes the uj to weaken.

Take warm wind proof clothing and wellies or hiking boots, it will be muddy and take spare footwear too.

And food for the day trips.

Oh and smiles so you can photograph them :D

Pants...... Lots of clean underpants. :butt:

For people without a cb I did my 1st trip with out one it makes no difference. In fact the only reason I fitted one was for the big springy aerial
Who's ever missus said no you can hide the unit anywhere in your truck as long as the mic can reach you and I just use a magmount from maplin so I can take it off in 2 seconds If needs be with the wire fed through the sun roof.
The cb was £11 of eBay :D

See you there then drift I'm off to grease my nipples

Andy,
I have one with a mag mount and fag lighter connection, but it meets a new microphone. Will bring it along for you to borrow if someone else can loan you a microphone for the duration

I will also need a SWR meter if anyone can bring one please :?:
