Re: WHAT YOU DID TO YOUR TRUCK TODAY!Ste, rather boringly some A/T's , 255/65 16's - Lassa Competus 4x4 tyres.
Finances dictate the car will be kept standard, so had narrowed down three tyres, General AT2's, Hankook Dynapro RF10's and the Lassa's. Once I had done the calculations on tyre cost/delivery cost (awkward residing in the "Highlands") the choice was down to the latter two tyres. The cost difference was now minimal but I have 3 Lassa's on the car which it came with and they have done all that I have asked of them. The fronts don't have too many miles left on them but one has a nick in the sidewall, so I thought, do it while I can. So 4 news will go on leaving me the rear one becoming the spare of matching make/tread, the split tyre will be binned leaving me a Grabber, a Good year and the remaining Lassa for garage spares. I had done mega reading and was comfortable with the Lassa's as reading between the lines they have received a lot of technological backbone from Bridgestone. Some of the specialist 4x4 tyre stockists rate them as a 50/50 tyre which is ideal for me. As mentioned, I have found the outgoing ones really good - 6" snow on a 1:4 hill track with no probs.
