Changed Holly's rear propshaft UJ... Nasty clicking and squealing noises have gone, which is nice. Greased all the rest of the UJ's while I was under there too. Think the only thing left now is a front bearing I'd like to get done before Avalanche, but can wait if needs be. Oh yer... And I won 6 bottles of Molyslip on eBay for £25, too Enough for the next years worth of oil changes, plus one for when I drain and refill the gearbox when the prop seal gets done. At that price, be mad to miss out.

1. Fitted the newly re-built 2.2 engine back into the Fronty B. 2. Fitted a new Clutch Plate, Pressure Plate and baring
Now I just have to reconnect water pipes. electrical cables and we should be good to go for the first start...

Been out wombling today, and liberated a few bits n bobs from the scrappers... They had a 2.2 LWB in, although annoyingly the engine & box had been gas-axed out so no gearbox crossmember Did come away with a replacement boot carpet for Holly, the usual pocketful of electrical odds 'n sods, removable towball (broke the latch mechanism on mine ) and new innards for the load area light. Oh, and the spoiler doobrie for Krusher. In two minds about the rear seats though - they'd need one *serious* clean, but might go back for em during the week; would only leave me needing an interior carpet then, although I could do a Dwfty and rubbercoat the floor, heh...

I removed the LED Beacon from Beasty, and installed it on Chugga. Too bl@@dy ages. I've rough wired it in, so I could try it. Will finish the wiring off on either Tuesday or Wednesday, as she's back in the garage to get her brakelines and headlight fixed, then resit her MOT. I'll be glad when we eventually get down to Avalanche......I'll be pleased of some rest.

Mounted the CB and Aerial. Replaced the headlight switch for a user friendly version. Fitted OEM clock to the centre console (mine never had one fitted it seems). Replaced the damaged blank plate in the centre console. Replaced the damaged centre dials surround. Fabricated a mobile phone holder mount and installed it. Phew ... now for a brewski! viewtopic.php?f=46&t=34626&p=458894#p458894

had a day on the truck today. took the side steps off, think it looks miles better looks like its had a lift then took the drivers door card off and lifted the glass back on to its runner, then the rear n/s door card off and lubricated all the locking mechanisms as it was sticking. then took the removable towbar off and put it in the shed for when needed, i also wanted to pop somer 4mm ball bearings in the egr valve pipes but couldnt fine the bloody things . then went onto the missis car and did the door locks, what a pain in the arse that was. then cut the rear lawn and finally fixed the kids see saw. next job remove front bumber and bullbars maybe bext week as its a double bank holiday and when the tax return comes through thinking of doing a 2" lift andy
Thanx, Andy
