Re: WHAT YOU DID TO YOUR TRUCK TODAY!Took drivers door apart to cure a rattle, found at least 1/2kg of shattered window glass in the bottom, hoovered out and removed several large sections of skin whilst doing so.
Found door lock rod rubbing against door panel, glued in some foam, rubbing stopped. "Plumbed" in wire to fit switch for spots, will connect tomorrow or Sunday All removed door parts were scrubbed clean in hot soapy water Central locking adjusted to work properly Attempted to mount spare wheel on roof, without a roof rack, this was deemed a crappy idea by me, and thus will wait until roof rack is made. Tyre will now reside in the boot for now Whilst fitting in switch wire, found a circuit board wrapped in brown parcel tape, with several yards of wires poking out, also attached with electrical tape were two black boxes of indetermite origin, and one lone grey wire with "ariel do not cut" written on it. I suspect it is a basterdised/homemade/shoddy repaired immobilizer - pics to follow. A busy afternoon. If it bleeds, I can kill it.

Re: WHAT YOU DID TO YOUR TRUCK TODAY!It rained, as forecast, but no drips appeared around the sunroof seal - this may be progress. On the down side, have heard a scraping noise from the back of the car when either accelerating or turning - intermittent at the moment and have not got a clue what is causing it but its definitely in the mechanicals as it is more apparent when the windows open. Hmmm.
