I use the organic inclinometer to tell me when my truck is reaching the limit, my head.. :roll:

My one of them kept getting stuck, got this now from an Isuzu MU,

Seems more accurate and sensitive.

Well finally got the time (and weather lol) to fit my safari snorkel. Got to say very nice piece of kit. Had to chop about 2 inches out of the middle of the inner piece and then re-connected it by rivetting on some ally plates and silicone sealing the whole goey mess hehehe. Just waiting for the silicone to go off before I drive it though. I used some silicone hose I had lting about to connect the airbox end as the pipework supplied won't quite work. Fingers crossed it will be ok. Just need to get my K&N now (wait for next payday!). While the car was up in the air I also extended the rear axle breather into the engine bay. Really pleased with the overall result and well worth the £90 off ebay!

Intrigued to hear what it sounds like now though.

Filled the truck on the way home from work tonight for the second time in the last 4 days (I get about a bit lol). 78 ltrs..... eyes were glued to the very low fuel gauge for the last few miles to the petrol station

This posting may have been helpfull, on the other hand probably not... Either way, I may have had drink when posting it in which case it's probably not as helpfull as it could have been

Work safe, and remember all technical problems can be resolved with a hammer, the trick is knowing where to hit it and how big a hammer to use (I often find it may also help to have a spare bit in the shed to replace the bit you have just mullered

)

I sold the 2.8 engine last week and the guy has just been to collect it

The guy told me that he is fitting It into a trooper then it's going to climates warmer ( Kenya )
