replaced all brake lines and cat ready for re mot monday

Taxed the Fronty and then managed to fit the front towing eyes.

Oh yes it's now road legal

Switched on the rear wiper to find it would not switch off again, so opened the cover on the rear wiper control box (located behind the r/h panel in the bootspace) and yep, full of water. Emptied it and all working fine. This time I'm refitting the box so the contacts are facing the car floor, and then getting those side windows seals dealt with (short of welding them up!)

With some help (Well, loads actually - he did it for me ) from Robbie, my EGR gaskets were changed. Sadly, I still have the same problem.

After some lunch (when we returned home) I wired in my LED beacon (the one off Chugga) into Beasty. It also now has an LED break light on it too. Aren't I a clever boy.

Not much really ... Just finished putting the replacement Turbo in. In between running the teen-taxi of course, and other non-fronty running about as well

Tommorrow I get to drain whats left of the oil (not much, tis on the bottom of the dip stick, so should take all of a min or two) then drop the front belly plate and the bottom sump to check for any damage. Something made the Turbo fail.

Then it's time to re-fill the oil, prime the Turbo and try it out. Oh I'll put the sump back and belly too before putting the oil in

New to me alloys and new to me tyres. Grand total £120 including fuel and fitting/balacing. Oh got a free spare wheel cover as well

Touched in some old war wounds on the old girl and then fitted towing brackets and shackles

sat and watched the rain dance on it,

then sat and a heart to heart with my self about the truck,

and came to the conclusion that

this weekend i have put a new set of mud wheels and tyres on, now 31/10.50's and fitted some front fog lights and bigger spots
