Re: WHAT YOU DID TO YOUR TRUCK TODAY!Jim, all the plates have been off and the cross member, well one bolt stuck so swung it out of the way when replacing the front transfer box seal, so that will be fine and the gear box was last out three years ago so shouldnt pose to much of a problem, just getting the new bugger back in

Re: WHAT YOU DID TO YOUR TRUCK TODAY!Attempted to bleed the clutch!
Only to discover, the cause of my problem is the seals are going on the Master Cylinder! Am now on the lookout for a replacement. Cheap,I hope! Noli Illegitimi Carborundum
Re: WHAT YOU DID TO YOUR TRUCK TODAY!Seal kits are cheap as chips, and you can get them from most motor factors. Easy to install as well. Just make sure everything is nice and clean. Use a bit of fluid to get them in so they slide easily and Roberts your Mothers Brother.

Re: WHAT YOU DID TO YOUR TRUCK TODAY!Drift: I got my spigot bearing from Milner in September. The listing was "CLUTCH SPIGOT SHAFT BEARING -
000900" at 6 pounds. I see now that it's no longer on their webshop but you might give them a call and ask. Anyway, if it's possible to dig out the dimensions from the internet, the local bearing supplier might have one as well?

Re: WHAT YOU DID TO YOUR TRUCK TODAY!Last night did an Oil/filter change, tried some of that 'slick' oil flush stuff, as per instructions. Seemed to work okay, the oil came out and the new went in okay. Shame I then promptly fell over the stupid bucket thing I drained it into...
Today, I blew the turbo... smoke everywhere and then got pulled by the local traffic cops about an hour after it went as I was taking the truck home to fix it (*******'s). Got a choice between a 30 quid fixed penalty or one of those 'get it off the road and fixed in 14 days tickets' and then take it to a MOT station to prove you fixed it and send the paperwork in or we will see ya in court, took the get it fixed option. Not a happy bunny though. Old Turbo comes off tommorrow night after work, Newish Turbo goes on Sat. This posting may have been helpfull, on the other hand probably not...
