Re: WHAT YOU DID TO YOUR TRUCK TODAY!Went to an outdoor re-enactment type event at the weekend and got a new paint job while setting up all the tents while working as setup and takedown crew
![]() ![]() ![]() Never got out of 2wd and the mud was pretty thick. Not anywhere as extreme as some of you guys but seeing as all I had was fairly worn road tyres and the ground was sodden I though it was pretty good going. Never got stuck once unlike quite a lot of other vehicles which I ended up towing. And I achieved one aim of getting mud on the top of the roof ![]() ![]() My members ride For Banshee the Trooper : viewtopic.php?f=46&t=34626 My members ride for Leeloo the Lotus Edition viewtopic.php?f=46&t=60154 Deceased My members ride for Brenda the Bighorn : viewtopic.php?f=46&t=54771

Re: WHAT YOU DID TO YOUR TRUCK TODAY!Some one experienced that top bolt before then and thought sod it its not needed.
Nope it was me. Guilty as charged. I was just finishing putting the G:box back in the other day and as people keep turning up needing translations and sheep need looking after etc. the tightening bit got overlooked. If you think it is awkward on a british one then try doing it on a french one with the brake servo and steering etc. in the way. Luckily I didn't have to remove it but putting a new bolt in was so very not easy. Off came the slave cyl and the g/box crossmember and then lower the box as far as poss. to get access.
