EGRs blanked off nicely already with some 5mm mild steel plates I made a couple of weeks ago :) Some more 2,5" tubing is on my list to get rid of the particulate filter and flappy paddle. Then I'll have a 2,5" system all the way from the downpipe and out. Will be niice! Post pictures then.

I heard the scratching but didn't see the signpost so kept going

Side step needs replaced anyway - all it's done is remove the plastic to show some really bad rust has gone right through the tubing.

Fixed a couple of annoying niggles on Freya.

Scraping noise on rear end :- topped up rear axle oil - no difference but should have been done when I got her so - off with the back wheels and check the rear pads, both outer ones ( that you can see through the alleys ) worn but servicable, both inner ones down to the metal. Replaced pads no more noise ( stupid boy should have known that )

Very low oil pressure :- amazing what a difference an oil and filter change makes, once again should have been done ages ago.

Just to prove that training as a mechanic when leaving school all those years ago made no difference whatsoever. :D :D

Well, it's not strictly all today but...

Saturday I replaced both inner CV joint gaiters with the sticky plit affairs, under the supervision of Drifty (Cheers Ste for that, and for having the things sent to his place :drink: )
Today I've popped a new sidelight bulb in to replace the blown one. Oh, and unpacked a shedload of stuff from the back of the motor

Yesterday I stripped it down to sort the bus can belt out.
Today A friend arrived to stick it back together again

I really have to get tools sorted for my compressor after Bernie stuck his windy gun on it, made life ooohh so simple.

It just needs new push rods and looks like jobs a goodn.

The old push rods

Took Tessie down a few by-ways near me today,
Have now had to repair a slight fuel leak from a fractured pipe, Repair the exhaust down pipe after a tangle with a big rock and tape up the rear quarter window with tape(good job i had the bugger tinted or i would be cleaning glass out of the truck as well  )
If it aint broken, you havent tried hard enough

Heaven wont take me and Hell is scared i will take over
