Replaced the steering idler pivot. A battle to loosen the tapered shaft connection, but in the end it had to let go for a mighty hammer and a modified splitter fork!
Fitted the tailgate check strap I got from Drift and found all my electric windows operating as they are meant too. Strange with the windows as they have been dodgy for a year now, don't know what to make of that...

Anyways, happy days
We're ready for MOT retest and Easter holiday in the mountains next week :-D

Had a nice clean motor untill i drove down one of the lanes round here. Yep the bleedin farmers have treated the roads like an off road circate and one motor ploughed through a hedge because of the crap on the road from the farm vehicles. Between us we removed said car from hedge only to have another motor plough through the crap on the road and shower me and my motor in thick dirt :x :x :x ...Now a clean motor :D :D :D

Was just about to start putting the DMF back in when the heavy rain that France Météo said was coming tomorrow turned up a day early. :? :?
